Conductor: Julian Winn 

Julian studied violin at the Royal College of Music UK with the late John Ludlow. His work in the West End includes Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Starlight Express,Cats, and the current West End smash hit, Mama Mia.

As a Musical Director, his work includes Grease (Cambridge Theatre, West End) and the UK National Tour of Doctor Dolittle.  His music regularly features on BBC and ITV and his composition for full orchestra, Perpetuum Mobile, featured in the National Children’s Orchestra concert series in 2018.

In the same year, Julian was invited to conduct and workshop this piece with the renowned violinist, Nicola Benedetti as part of the Benedetti Sessions at the Royal Welsh College of Music. Julian now combines his roles as a teacher and an educational composer, collaborating with Sing Up, the UK’s national singing educational organisation,  and the award-winning music education platform, Out of the Ark.
